Laser hair removal
LUXEA PLUS FROM DEKA
With its Vivid 810 diode laser hair removal handpiece, LUXEA PLUS is specially designed to deliver safe, long-lasting results for all skin types—without pain or discomfort. This new technology is now available to all clients of NOĀ Beauty Lounge.
The selection of various wavelengths is ensured by innovative technology and is precisely tailored to the client's pigmentation, hair characteristics, and skin type. Light, fine, and thin hairs in superficial layers are effectively treated due to high melanin absorption capabilities. Deeper-seated hair follicles are destroyed by the device's beams, making it ideal for treating even the darkest skin tones—types IV through VI.
The Vivid 810 laser handpiece is considered the gold standard for safe use on skin type VI. There is no need to wait months for a tan to fade; treatment can be performed just one week after sun exposure or tanning bed use, as the handpiece can be finely adjusted to operate at half the standard energy level used by other laser hair removal systems. This ensures maximum safety and a painless procedure—a significant advantage for clients with dense hair growth, as well as those with dark or tanned skin. The laser's exceptional efficacy is supported and proven by numerous global clinical studies.
The number of treatments depends on hair density, the type of area being treated, the individual hair growth cycle, and the client's hormonal profile; however, the gold standard for optimal results is a minimum of six treatments spaced 35 to 60 days apart.

Which areas can be targeted?
All areas of the body can undergo laser hair removal – arms, legs, and face, including sensitive areas such as the chest, abdomen, underarms, and intimate areas.
How does the procedure work?
The procedure causes no discomfort, as the heat generated is neutralized by the sapphire contact cooling system built into the handpiece itself. No local anesthesia is required. The treatment quadrants are marked, as are any skin areas to be avoided. A water-based contact gel is then applied, which also serves to hydrate the skin. The procedure lasts between 15 and 60 minutes on average, depending on the area being treated. A slight stinging sensation may be felt in areas with a higher density of hair.
Is advance preparation necessary?
Areas to be treated with laser hair removal must not be exposed to the sun or a tanning bed for five days prior to the procedure.
Before laser hair removal, hair must not be removed mechanically (waxing, epilator, tweezers) for at least 20 days.
The day before the procedure, the hair in the treatment area must be shaved or removed using a depilatory cream. There must be no hair above the skin's surface; otherwise, the laser energy is absorbed by the existing hair and cannot penetrate deeply enough to perform its intended function—namely, the thermolysis of the hair follicle.
What should I know about the procedure?
You must not expose yourself to direct sunlight for the first 48 hours, and for at least a week thereafter, the use of SPF 50 sunscreen is mandatory to prevent pigmentation.
After laser hair removal, you may take a lukewarm shower. The skin should not be subjected to exfoliation, cleansing, or other procedures that could irritate it.
Skin redness is normal and disappears within an hour to two days, depending on skin sensitivity. Some people may develop pimples after the procedure; these will clear up on their own without the need for further medical attention.
Residual hairs may appear over the next 3 to 14 days, but they are very fine and weak, and fall out on their own.
Hair must not be removed mechanically between sessions. Only shaving is permitted.
The interval between two separate procedures is a minimum of 28 days—the time it takes for the hair follicle to renew itself.
What is the number of treatments required to achieve the full effect?
Most treatment areas require between 6 and 10 sessions. The number of sessions depends on hair density, the specific area being treated, the individual's hair growth cycle, and their hormonal profile. Hair growth occurs in three distinct phases. Typically, the laser targets only those hairs that are in the active growth stage (anagen) at the time of the procedure. Consequently, a single session results in the permanent loss of approximately 25% of the hair in the treated area. Since hairs enter the active phase at different times, additional sessions are necessary to completely eliminate the hair in the treated area. This is the advantage of laser hair removal: the hair removal is permanent and long-lasting, provided the patient does not have hormonal imbalances.
